Buttercream
       

8 Ounces of Margarine

3 Cups of Icing Sugar

Vanilla Essence (optional)

Have margarine at room temperature; beat in an electric blender until smooth.

Add icing sugar and blend until mixed through. Mixture should be fluffy and easy to spread with a spatula.

When adding icing colours extra icing sugar may be added for correct consistency to pipe onto cake.
